"Upon the Lampstand" is Back Online with Updated Q&A: "Body" or "Ears" in Psalm 40:6/39:7 and in Hebrews 10:5

From 2007 to 2012, when the old Elihu Books site was online, there was a series of Q&As called, "Upon the Lampstand," based on Jesus' words in Luke 8:16-17. After the old Elihu site went down and these Q&As and all the other articles on the site with it, it took a while to get the new Elihu Books and Media site online, and then update my older articles, Q&As, Elihu Online Papers, and other PDFs which were linked across these items, as well as in the older site's index. 

Now you can read the older (from 2007 to 2012) QAs again, updated but with essentially the same format, and a new first-page look, here: "Upon the Lampstand" Q&As. I will put up a notice for each Q&A I finish updating and uploading, and when I finish some new Q&As I have received. The first Q&A, which is now online, is also the last one I uploaded to the old site back in June 2012. It is about the different readings ("ears" or "body") in the Masoretic Text and in other texts of Psalm 40:6/39:7, compared with the quotation by the author of Hebrews, which is consistent with other texts of Psalm 40:6/39:7. If you care at all about New Testament textual criticism and transmission, as well as how the author of Hebrews may be using Psalm 40:6/39:7 regardless of whether the quoted source read "ears" or "body," you will want to read this Q&A. There is also some important discussion about Jesus' physical body while on earth before and after his resurrection, through to the time when "the days of his flesh" ended and he 'offered his body' to God on our behalf.--Hebrews 5:7; 10,5, 10.

Though Jesus is no longer a man as both the author of Hebrews (5:7) and Paul (Galatians 1:1, 11-12) explicitly teach, historical references to the actual "man" aside, but which also explicitly limit such references to when he "gave himself" as "a man" (see 1 Timothy 2:5-6), not as he exists post-resurrection in heaven. There are many other problems with this non-Christian teaching about Jesus having a body of flesh in heaven, all of which are refuted by the texts just mentioned, and by others discussed in the newly updated and uploaded Q&A, including the citation of Psalm 40:6/39:7 in Hebrews 10:5.
